This time we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for our team in Biatorbágy. You will lead a team of 20 and will be responsible for the strategic planning of this division.


  • Operative leading of the Supply chain Department (purchasing, logistics, warehousing)
  • End to End supply chain management
  • Collaboration with other departments (engineering, production, quality, finance)
  • Full controlling, improving, optimizing of the purchasing processes (direct, indirect, strategic)
  • Building up of qualified supplier chain, looking and selecting new suppliers
  • Tendering, evaluating and qualifying suppliers
  • Execution of supplier negotiations, concluding supplier contracts
  • Supporting the full production side from purchasing, logistics and warehousing perspective
  • Full material resource planning for the production (MRP) /raw materials in appropriate quantity, quality and time/
  • Controlling of the warehousing and stock levels (raw material, work in progress, finished goods)
  • Supervision of stock controlling and stock taking, continuously optimization of stock levels
  • Logistics supply of the production (transportation and internal material handling)
  • Supervision and optimization of the international logistics processes (for finished goods)
  • Continuously cost reduction of the existing products
  • Supporting the new product implementations (NPI)
  • Supporting the new product developments
  • Creation and supervision of ERP processes, coordination of ERP developments
  • Product cost calculation (pre- and post-calculation)
  • Creating of annual budgets
  • Achievement of KPI objectives
  • Preparing reports and analyses for the top management

Job requirements


  • At least 5 years' work experience as a manager, preferably at a manufacturer company (experience at metal-, plastic-, composite-, or automotive manufacturing company is an advantage)
  • Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage)
  • Excellent communication in English (both written and spoken)
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing technologies (metal, plastics, composites, etc.)
  • Knowledge of PLM systems, PTC Windchill knowledge is an advantage
  • Experience in product and production development
  • Complex, strategic and analytic thinking
  • Accurate, agile, independent working attitude, logical behaviour, system approach
  • Readiness for business travel in Hungary and abroad
