The Event Manager shall actively support the department to develop, manage and deliver key projects in line with the strategic plan. The role also has a significant part to play, working closely with the sport team to ensure the ongoing operational activities of the Federation are successfully met aligned to the objectives as detailed in the annual sport business plan.
The Event Manager brings industry-related and/or transferable knowledge, event/sport contacts and overall project management experience to FITEQ.

TASKS

• Oversee the development and management of specific event deliverables
• Event-time leadership, management and support
• Support the development and management of event operational policies, procedures and projects (e.g. publications, handbooks, etc.)
• Support the management and relationship with industry stakeholders and clients
• Support the management relating to the mechanics, activities and compliance of the sport business plan; relating to events
• Coordinate FITEQ’s presence at relevant industry forums, conferences and meetings
• Support the development and management of an effective system to complete post‐event reports
• Provide administrative, managerial and operational support
• Complete other such duties and activities as directed by superior

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years experience delivering international event  in sports or entertainment-based entity
  
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
• Proven track record in leading complex change management projects; including budget- and risk management
• Ability to prioritize to efficiently manage projects and deliverables
• High ethical standards with the ability to accommodate the requirements of colleagues
• Value-driven personality to be a true ambassador for Teqball and inspire colleagues
• Accuracy and attention to detail while maintaining a long‐term focus
